摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-intensity and high-quality sintered ore having an excellent reducibility at a high yield, by using a downward-suction type sintering machine to combust a carbonaceous material and gas fuel in a charged layer. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: charging a sintered material containing a fine ore and the carbonaceous material on a circulating pallet to form the charged layer; igniting the carbonaceous material of a surface of the charged layer; sucking air above the charged layer containing the gas fuel diluted to a combustion lower limit concentration or lower with a wind box located under the pallet to lead the air into the charged layer; and combusting the gas fuel and the carbonaceous material in the charged layer to manufacture the sintered ore.
