摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for estimating a secondary battery state, configured to reduce a calculation load in an on-board ECU having restrictions on throughput and memory capacity, and to estimate SOC with high accuracy even during EV travel. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for estimating a secondary battery state estimates concentration overvoltage (&Delta;&phiv;<SB POS="POST">e</SB>) on the basis of a concentration distribution (&Delta;c<SB POS="POST">e</SB>) between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a reactive material, such as lithium salt, and estimates an internal state of the secondary battery and SOC with high accuracy by use of voltage-current relational model expressions (M1a')-(M1d') or (M3a')-(M3d') with the concentration overvoltage (&Delta;&phiv;<SB POS="POST">e</SB>) embedded therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
