The system has a driving road determination device (9) provided between switches (3a-3d) of a track portion (1) and a signal box (4). The driving road determination device determines driving road information regarding the track portion depending on adjustments of the switches and transfers the determined driving road information to a signal detection unit (7) i.e. lineside electronic unit. The signal detection unit transfers the determined driving road information to a data balise (6) to transmit the information as further information to a rail vehicle.
