<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve virtual travel while protecting privacy of a moving object. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual travel system collects image data generated by imaging using an imaging apparatus installed inside/outside a vehicle or inside/outside a building. Among the collected image data, the virtual travel system identifies a region in which the moving object is drawn. Also, among the collected image data, the virtual travel system processes image data in the region indicating the object into other image data. The virtual travel system receives a virtual travel request, including information relative to a virtual travel itinerary, from a user terminal used by a user, and distributes processed image data, obtained by processing image data generated by the imaging apparatus installed inside/outside a vehicle for use in the virtual travel requested in the virtual travel request or inside/outside a building existent in the vicinity of places in the virtual travel itinerary, successively to the user terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
