PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve the transmittance of RGB pixels and control the color coordinate of white color. CONSTITUTION: Data voltage is supplied to a red pixel(130R), a green pixel(130G), and a blue pixel(130B). The data voltage is switched by channels(140R,140G,140B). A liquid crystal display device controls the transmittance of the light emitted from a backlight unit to display a color image and adjusts the color coordinate of white color by changing a channel of a low brightness pixel to a channel of a high brightness pixel.
