<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an acetabular cup for order-type artificial hip joint is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and to facilitate the manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an acetabular cup for order-type artificial hip joint is as follows. Necessary design variables are extracted from pelvis topology data of a patient to design and manufacture an acetabular cup(S1). The information obtained from the design variable extracting step is arrayed according to the design circumstance of the acetabular cup(S3). An acetabular cup fit for the patient is designed using the extracted design variables(S5).</p> |
