<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trackball device which allows the restriction on a displacement in a rotation direction of a ball. <P>SOLUTION: A trackball device 1 comprises: a pair of first rotation supporting bodies 50 disposed at both sides on a first rotational axis of a ball 3; a pair of second rotation supporting bodies 60 disposed at both sides of a second rotational axis which is different from the first rotational axis; and a rotation direction controlling mechanism for controlling a rotation direction of the ball 3 in one direction, when the ball 3 is operated to rotate in the one direction about an axis which coincides with the first rotational axis or the second rotational axis. The rotation direction controlling mechanism includes a pressing member 40 which applies force pressed by the ball 3 against one of two neighboring members out of the first rotation supporting bodies 50 and the second rotation supporting bodies 60, onto the other member out of the first rotation supporting bodies 50 and the second rotation supporting bodies 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
