<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of appropriately improving sensitivity of a deep part. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmission/reception part, an addition part, an image generation part, and a control part. The transmission/reception part performs, on the same scanning line, one, two or more sets of ultrasonic wave transmission/reception repeatedly performed by inverting a phase polarity on the same scanning line. The addition part adds reflected wave data for the plurality of sets received as the result of the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception. The image generation part generates images using the reflected wave data for the portion of one set or the added reflected wave data for the portions of the plurality of sets. The control part switches a first mode of performing one set of the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception and a second mode of performing the plurality of sets of the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception. The transmission/reception part performs one set of the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception or the plurality of sets of the ultrasonic wave transmission/reception according to changeover by the control part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
