PURPOSE: Dynamic data strobe detection is provided to capture data received from a memory bus by latching bits of the data based on a data strobe signal provided by a memory during reading operation. CONSTITUTION: Memory interface circuits(230A,230B) determine an initial time value capturing data from memories(240A,240B) based on a data strobe signal. The memory interface circuits determine an adjusted time value capturing the data. The memory interface circuits determine the adjusted time value by using the initial time value in order to sample the data strobe signal. The memory interface circuits capture a known value from the memories and determine the initial time value based on the capture of the known value.
