The assembly (10) has a pump (14) comprising a piston (26) to compress fluid in a compression chamber (20) formed by a frame (18). A cylindrical push rod (30) has a support surface engaging with a head of the piston to push the piston and a stop surface allowing insertion of the head in the push rod until contact of the head with the support surface in relative position of the head and the push rod. The stop surface prevents extraction of the head in another relative position of the head and the push rod. The push rod is guided in translation in a pipe (28) formed in a combustion engine (12).
