<p>Metallic Cu is heated in a powdered mass of copper phosphide or other P salts in a sealed refractory circuit so that the P diffuse uniformly throughout the Cu mass. Temp. is pref. 400-800 degrees C. The metallic Cu is pref as shaped pieces e.g. anodes for copper copper-plating.</p> |
