PURPOSE: A probe for a blast furnace is provided to measure accurate temperature for each internal position of the blast furnace and to monitor the internal gas composition and internal temperature profile of the blast furnace from the temperature, thereby determining the internal state of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: A probe for a blast furnace comprises a spherical body(10), a thermocouple(17), and a transmission part(19). The spherical body is formed on a heat resistance material. The thermocouple is inserted in the spherical body. The transmission part is arranged inside the spherical body and is connected to the thermocouple so that information on temperature measured in the thermocouple and the position of the spherical body can be transmitted to an external receiver.
