<p>The present invention relates to a biodegradable block copolymer produced by block copolymerization of polyester and polyacetal. More particularly, the present invention relates to a biodegradable polyester-polyacetal block copolymer in which polyacetal binds to polyester, which is obtained by reacting a dicarboxyl acid component with a diol component, wherein the dicarboxyl acid component consists of: a1) 25-95 mol% of aliphatic dicarboxyl acid or derivatives thereof; a2) 3-70 mol% of aromatic dicarboxyl acid or derivatives thereof; and a3) 1-5 mol% of dicarboxyl acid containing a methane sulfonate group, and the diol component consists of: b1) 75-99 mol% of C1-C6 alkane diol; and b2) 1-25 mol% of diol containing an ether group. The polyester-polyacetal block copolymer of the present invention has excellent biodegradability as well as properties as an engineering plastic, and is thus widely industrially applicable. Further, waste from molded articles can biodegrade, which is effective in the reduction of environmental pollutants.</p> |
