PURPOSE: A bone graft material is provided to rapidly regenerate a damaged and lost part of bone by applying the bone graft material to the damaged and lost part of bone. CONSTITUTION: A bone graft material includes silk fibroin peptide as an active ingredient. The silk fibroin peptide has average molecular weight of 100-4,000 Da and is prepared by removing sericin by treating silk with alkaline solution and hydrolyzing the silk with acid. The silk fibroin peptide improves the expression of alkaline phosphatase, collagen type I-alpha 1, fibronectin, or transforming growth factor(TGF)-beta 1. |
