POWER CONTROL METHOD, BASE STATION AND TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

A power control method, a macro base station and a sleeping cell base station. The method includes: a macro base station determining a sleeping cell needing to be activated according to the measurement report; and sending an activation request to the sleeping cell needing to be activated, wherein the activation request includes the identifier of the sleeping cell needing to be activated, the reduction value of the applied power after activation with respect to the maximum power level or an initial power level, a power ascending level, and power holding time or a pre-determined first time, enabling a sleeping cell base station to send signals according to the power which is reduced by the reduction value with respect to the maximum power level or to send signals according to an ascending power after the sleeping cell is turned on. The method does not need the sleeping cell base station to send signals at the maximum power, thus improving the energy efficiency; nor needs a plurality of times of detection procedures, thus reducing the signalling overhead, avoiding the quality of service from decreasing in a macro cell, and solving the problem existing in the prior art.
