<p>Provided is a nail clipper which takes into account the shape of the human nail and does not cause unnatural deformations to the nail when cutting the nail, and which is suitable for cutting the nail gently and softly. This nail clipper cuts a nail by bringing one cutting edge formed on a tip of one cutting blade close to another cutting edge formed on a tip of another cutting blade, the cutting edges being disposed facing each other, placing the nail to be cut between the two cutting edges, and bringing the cutting edges into contact with each other. The one cutting edge and the other cutting edge each has, in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which each cutting edge moves so as to approach each other, a straight line portion which faces and extends parallel to each other and a curved portion which continues from the straight line portion and which curves and extends at a curvature corresponding to each other.</p> |
