PURPOSE: A polyamide-imide film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the mechanical property of the film, and to economically manufacture the polyamide-imide film. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a polyamide-imide film comprises the following steps: producing a polyamide-imide solution including recurring units marked with chemical formula 1 and 2, from a raw material monomer including pyromellitic dianhydride, and an isocyanate compound selected from trimellitic anhydride, diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and toluene diisocyanate; mixing a polyimide precursor with the polyamide-imide solution to form a polymer mixture solution; spreading the solution on a supporter; obtaining a self-supportable film by drying; and heat processing the film after separating from the supporter. |
