ELECTROMAGNETIC SUSPENSION

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic suspension is provided to improve the reliability of wiring for a cylindrical linear motor by placing wiring on a gap portion between a first rod and a second rod, thereby protecting the wiring from the external environment. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic suspension(1) comprises an outer container(18), a first rod(4), a second rod(23), and wiring(12). The outer container is equipped with a permanent magnet(19) on the inner surface. The first rod is movably inserted into the outer container with one end overhung from the outer container and is equipped with an armature on the outer surface of the other end. One end of the second rod is movably engaged with the first rod on the inner surface and the other end of the second rod is fixed to the bottom of the outer container. The wiring is connected to the armature with one end and extended to the outside with the other end. The wiring is placed on a gap portion(27) between the inner surface of one end of the first rod and the outer surface of the second rod.
