<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate laying and maintenance of a cable for supplying electric power to an electric heater embedded in a pavement block. <P>SOLUTION: In a pavement block with a snow melting function: an electric heater 20 for melting snow is embedded inside a block body 10; an electric cable 23 for supplying electric power to the electric heater 20 is led outside of the block body 10 from its inside; the block body 10 is provided with a recess 11 opening upward and sideward and a hole 12 opening to the inner surface of the recess 11; a cover member 15 fitted to the inside of the recess 11 is provided and a top face 15a of the cover member 15 is flush with a top face 10a of the block body 10; and the cable 23 is led out from the electric heater 20 to the inside of the recess 11 through the hole 12, and is led outward from a side face 10c of the block body 10 through between the inner face of the recess 11 and the outer face of the cover member 15 facing the inner face of the recess 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
