A method of calibrating a roll of a straightening machine, in which a body of roll is made according to the profile, whose generatrix is formed by rotation of a spatial line of contact of surfaces of the roll body and treated rolled metal, and the line is formed by a locus of points, in which the contacting surfaces have a common tangent. A generatrix of the working part of roll is calculated for groove radius, which corresponds to rolled metal reduced for a value of maximum allowable transverse elastic-plastic deformation of minimum size from the gage range, which will be straightened in the machine, while the angle of the roll inclination relative to the axis of straightening is taken minimumal according to the technical characteristics of the machine. The end parts are made in the form of curves convex from the roll axis and constructed on the basis of mathematical calculations, which are smoothly conjugated with the working part. The method ensures continuous contact of the roll with the surface of tubes being straightened in entire range of diameters. |
