PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material and a lid material excellent in a heat- sealing property at a low temperature to a polyester plate and a polyester container made of a PEN, an A-PET and other polyesters, an easy-peeling property and a flavor-retaining property by employing two or three kinds of polyesters each having a specific glass transition temperature, a melting point and a composition. SOLUTION: The composition comprises a polyester (A) having a glass transition temperature of at least 50 deg.C and, incorporated therewith, a crystalline polyester (B) having a melting point of not higher than 140 deg.C and/or a polyester (C) having copolymerized therewith a polyalkylene glycol.
