<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing sheet excellent in deodorizing function and persistence thereof, and excellent in durability such as strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance, etc., as a sheet, which is usable in a wide range of life spaces including outdoors, and applications as industrial material, and a method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the deodorizing sheet, and the method for persistence of deodorizing effect thereof, it comprises a flexible fiber composite material in the form of mesh, canvas, or tarpaulin, comprising an erosion-collapsing resin layer provided on at least one surface of base fabric formed of fiber material. On the erosion-collapsing resin layer, synthetic resin binder, photocatalyst particles, and inorganic deodorizing particles are contained. The content of the photocatalyst particles to the mass of the synthetic resin binder is 0.5-5 mass%.
