An adhesive composition, a surface protection film containing the composition, and a method for preparing the surface protection film are provided to inhibit the increase of adhesive strength at a surface protection film. An adhesive composition comprises a hydrogenated copolymer comprising (a) a polymer block comprising an aromatic vinyl compound, and (b) a polymer block comprising 55-90 wt% of a conjugated diene compound unit and 1-45 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound unit (wherein the content of the vinyl bond at the conjugated diene compound is 60 % or more), and is represented by [a-b]x-Y (wherein Y is a coupling agent residue), wherein a/b is 5/95 to 45/55 by weight, the weight average molecular weight of 50,000-500,000, the hydrogenation ratio is 80 % or more, and a melting flow rate is 5-100 g/10 min at 230 deg.C and at a load of 21.2 N. |
