PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor capable of reducing the memory cost and reading a gradation picture data or color picture data. SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a read means 1 for reading gradation picture data, scanning position detecting means 2a, 2b for detecting the scanning position, a thresholding means 111 for thresholding the generation picture data, a first picture memory 6 for storing binary picture data, a mapping means 111 for storing picture data within an overlapping scanning area in the first picture memory based on the scanning position where aberration is corrected, an aberration detecting means 111 for outputting an aberration correction value based on the picture data within the overlapping scanning area and the picture data stored in the first picture memory, a correction means 111 for correcting the scanning position based on the correction value, a correcting information memory 112 for storing the scanning position and the correction value of each line and a second picture memory 113 for storing the gradation picture data of each line. |
