PURPOSE: An automatic article storage control device and a method thereof are provided to prevent a criminal act about an article storage box by authenticating a right user when a user stores or collects an article. CONSTITUTION: An image analyzing unit(120) photographs a user face to recognize eyes, a nose, and a mouth of a user. An authentication unit(130) receives first authentication information about an authentication number of the user from a management server. The authentication unit receives second authentication information from the image analyzing unit. The authentication unit authenticates the user according to the first and the second authentication information.
