<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for a power apparatus which can easily obtain a power supply even at a place where a high voltage is applied and can be directly joined to an optical digital network of a power facility, and to provide a power apparatus using the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor 7 for a power apparatus mounted on a power apparatus which is vibrated at constant strength includes: a current transformer 1 which measures a current flowing through a conductor to be measured and outputs the measured current as an analog signal; a network terminal 8 which converts the analog signal outputted from the current transformer 1 to a digital signal required for digital transmission, and outputs the converted digital signal; and a power supply 9 which converts the added vibration into a voltage.
