PURPOSE: An index mirror for electrolyte of storage battery is provided to widen the index surface of the top of an index mirror and to increase visibility by a coupling groove formed on the outside of the lens surface of the index mirror. CONSTITUTION: An index mirror for electrolyte of storage battery comprises: a head(10) with a head main body(12) supporting lens(11); a rubber packing(20) preventing the leakage of the electrolyte by being attached to the bottom of the head; a cylindrical pillar(40) extended in a longitudinal direction while reducing the diameter thereof; a screw thread(30) coupled to the cover of a battery; and a lower holder(50) combining to the bottom of the cylindrical pillar by accepting a colored specific gravity bead(60) which display the state of an electrolyte. The head comprises one or more coupling grooves(13) on the head main body. The lens is formed in a convex type.
