<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a higher frame rate signal whose number of pixels per frame is (96P)100P-120P or more at a plurality of 10G serial interfaces. <P>SOLUTION: A mapping section 11 thins p pixel samples adjacent on the same line of two (or more) continuous frames and maps them in first to t-th sub-images. First to t-th vertical rectangular regions obtained by dividing a class image in a p pixel sample unit (p is integer of one or more) into t in a horizontal direction are obtained. The pixel samples which are read at every line from a zero-th line to an n-1 th line in the first and second class images are mapped in the p pixel sample unit for respective first to t-th vertical rectangular regions. The procedure is repeated on the next and subsequent lines and the same processing is also performed on the second frame. Line thinning and word thinning are performed, the samples are mapped in a video data region of HD-SDI at a mode D and HD-SDI is outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
