<p>Provided is an alerting method, including: a sending end configuring an alerting short message and sending the same to a receiving end, with the alerting short message including an alerting short message header and alerting short message content (S101); and the receiving end parsing the alerting short message after receiving the same and starting up an alerting function (S102). Also provided are an alerting system, a sending end, and a receiving end. By way of the present invention, the alerting short message is sent by way of the extension of the transport layer user data header indicator (TP-UD HI) in the short message header of the short message protocol, the terminal which supports the parsing of this newly added protocol header receives this type of short message, directly displays the same, prompts a special ringing vibration, and stores the same therein, and this event is of the highest priority and cannot be interrupted by other events, ensuring that the user acquires the alerting prompt within the shortest possible time.</p> |
