<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control system that reduces the possibility of power theft without providing a dedicated authentication section. <P>SOLUTION: The charge control system includes an electric lock system 1 and a charge control apparatus 7. The electric lock system 1 has an electric lock 2 for locking and unlocking a door 101 disposed in a doorway of a house 100, and a main apparatus 3 for performing authentication based on authentication information input by a user from an operation terminal 4, 5, and when the authentication is successful, locking or unlocking the electric lock 2.
