<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To broaden a frequency domain and an amplitude range where damping performance is exerted and realize a low dynamic spring at the time of low amplitude vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration damping device 1 includes a first mounting member 2 and a second mounting member 3, an elastic body 4 that elastically connects the first mounting member with the second mounting member, a partition member 5 which demarcates a liquid chamber 10 formed inside of the first mounting member into a main liquid chamber 11 and a sub liquid chamber 12, wherein the partition member is positioned between the main liquid chamber and the sub liquid chamber, a middle chamber 13 that communicates with the main chamber is formed, an elastically deformable elastic partition wall 7 which demarcates the sub liquid chamber into a first sub liquid chamber 14 and a second sub liquid chamber 15 is mounted, a movable plate 8 is housed inside the middle chamber, a plurality of side liquid chambers 42, 43 are formed on the elastic body, and further a main-sub chamber restricting passage 16, which causes a liquid column resonance to be generated by allowing the main liquid chamber and the second sub liquid chamber to communicate with each other so that an enclosed liquid inside the liquid chambers flows, and inter-side-sub restricting passages 17, 18, which cause a liquid column resonance to be generated by allowing the side liquid chamber and the second sub liquid chamber to communicate with each other so that the enclosed liquids flow, are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
