<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electrical performance of the connection between a molten solder plated rectangular wire and a crystalline solar cell when connecting the cell with the wire via a conductive film, by correcting a shape of the wire such that the wire comes into smooth contact with the cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method for connecting the crystalline solar cell comprises: prior to connecting the crystalline solar cell with the wire via the conductive film, bending and deforming a cross-sectional shape of the wire so that at least one of surfaces of the wire becomes flat; and then press-bonding the wire with the cell. Accordingly, the flat surface of the wire facing the cell reduces the possibility of a faulty connection, or a cell crack due to a stress concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
