<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive system for reducing the state that information from a transmitter cannot be detected. <P>SOLUTION: An interactive system 1 includes a plurality of projectors 100 and 200, a computer 300, and a transmitter (light emitting pen 400) for transmitting optical signals, and the plurality of projectors are installed so as to superimpose and display projection images that they respectively project in the same projection area. Each projector has an imaging part 50 for imaging a range including the projection image and detecting first optical signal information based on the optical signals, and forms third optical signal information on the basis of the first optical signal information and second optical signal information based on the optical signals detected by the other projector. The projector executes prescribed processing to an image to be projected on the basis of the third optical signal information.
