<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transporting vehicle capable of making compact the size in the travelling direction of the travelling truck thereof and to provide an article storing apparatus including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The article transporting vehicle includes a pair of presence/absence detecting means each constituted of an optical sensor of a light shielding type that detects the presence of an article by the absence of straight line detection light L formed by a first member S1 and a second member S2 both of which are disposed on both ends thereof, respectively, wherein the first member S1 for each of the pair of presence/absence detection means is disposed in the travelling direction within a range of the presence of an article B being an object to be detected by the corresponding presence/absence detection means while the second member S2 for each of the pair of presence/absence detection means is disposed in the travelling direction on a position closer to one end part on the side where the article B being an object to be detected by the corresponding presence/absence detection means is present, rather than the another end part on the side where an article B being an object to be detected by the another presence/absence detection means is present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
