METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF WAVELENGTH IN METAL-DIELECTRIC WAVEGUIDE

A method for the determination of wavelength in metal-dielectric waveguide (MDW) relates to micro-wave engineering. The method is based on the analysis of results of measurement of signals from power transducer excited by a transverse slot placed at given distance from the end of the waveguide, and the signal from detector is measured at sequential connection of a shortening element and a matched load. The technical result is in the determination of wavelength in MDW of any type and possibility of automation of the measurement process in the frequency band of the waveguide.
