<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for producing compost by efficiently heating a compost raw material through action on moisture contained in the compost raw material so as to make activity environment of microorganisms preferable, and to reduce power consumption for producing compost thus to reduce production cost of compost. <P>SOLUTION: To a piled compost raw material (9), microwaves passing in a microwave-guide (15) are outputted, and the outputted microwaves are absorbed to moisture contained in the compost raw material (9) to be converted into thermal energy to heat the compost raw material (9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
