PURPOSE: A device and a method for compensating the temperature of a torque tube type level meter are provided to apply the force of a reversed direction caused by a spring with respect to a torsional direction of a torque tube, thereby compensating variations caused by temperature variations of a displacement angle being transmitted to an angular sensor. CONSTITUTION: A device for compensating the temperature of a torque tube type level meter comprises a force addition arm(29), a rotating board(30), a spring, a force adjusting device(31). The force addition arm is attached to a center shaft. The rotating board is arranged around the center shaft to be rotated. The spring provides the force in a direction reversal to the torque of the center shaft with respect to the force addition arm through between the force addition arm and rotating board. The force adjusting device stops the rotation of the rotating board at a predetermined stopping position, thereby adjusting the force of the spring. |
