PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting a reverse control signal for preventing loss of a reverse control single in a mobile communication system are provided to divide a sub-frame to determine whether to transmit a control signal in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(1005) transmits and receives a signal from a base station. The transceiver receives a downlink control channel in a first section based on a sub-frame. The downlink control channel indicates a new transmission of an uplink or a downlink. A controller(1010) selectively determines whether to transmit a control signal in a second section preset from the sub-frame which receives the downlink control channel.
