PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical product that has an activating action on ADAR2 activity in a motor neuron and is useful for prevention and/or treatment of sporadic ALS.

SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical product is for treatment and/or prevention of sporadic amyotrophic lateral sclerosis includes substances selected from the group consisting of (a) a leucomycin and an oleandomycin, (b) a cyclophosphamide and (c)α interferons as active ingredients.
