<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved memory control device, memory device, memory control method and program capable of suppressing a cache block which stores data with high update frequency from becoming a target of writeback processing. <P>SOLUTION: A memory control device includes: a device driver which executes writing or reading of data to/from a main storage section and temporary writing or reading of data to/from a cache section having a plurality of cache blocks; and a control section which instructs the device driver to perform writing or reading of data in a file system to/from the main storage section or the cache section.
