<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a halogenated propane using propane as a raw material, wherein there has been no cases in which the propane is used as the raw material, so if the propane can be used as the raw material, the halogenated propane can be produced stably at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The halogenated propane is produced by reacting the propane with halogenated hydrogen and oxygen in the presence of a catalyst that contains at least one selected from a group comprising group-VII metals, group-VIII metals, group-XI metals, and compounds of these metals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
