<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an extension call between telephones, with different number systems, connected to a home network. <P>SOLUTION: An extension number (numeral) is assigned to an extension number (letter string) of an UPnP Telephony telephone 3 and is registered in an extension number conversion table 16. In making an extension call to the UPnP Telephony telephone 3 from a legacy telephone 2, the extension number (numeral) assigned to the UPnP Telephony telephone 3 is dialed, and HGW1 searches the extension number conversion table 16 and converts the extension number (numeral) to the extension number (letter string) of the UPnP Telephony telephone 3, thereby enabling a call through the extension call between the legacy telephone 2 and the UPnP Telephony telephone 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
