<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jacket with a spacer that can perform space adjustment having higher degree of freedom. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the water jacket formed so that a sand removal hole 10 penetrates through a cooling liquid passage 2 in molding a cylinder block, a spacer member 12, which is expanded by a cooling liquid, is mounted on a support 11 fixed to the sand removal hole 10 so as to block the sand removal hole 10. The support 11 is provided with a protrusion 11a protruding from an opening surface of the sand removal hole 10 within the cooling liquid passage 2.
