<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy management system that reconciles power consumption suppression and comfort. <P>SOLUTION: The energy management system for managing an amount of energy consumed by equipment including a plurality of energy consuming apparatuses (for example, air conditioners) includes: setting means 101 for setting a desired value of an amount of energy to be saved by the equipment in a first predetermined period (for example, 24 hours); distribution means 104 for distributing the desired value among the plurality of energy consuming apparatuses; and calculation means 107 for calculating an actual value of an amount of energy actually consumed by each of the plurality of energy consuming apparatuses in a second predetermined period (for example, time elapsed from the start of the first predetermined time).
