<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for efficient hydrogen fermentation and methane fermentation. <P>SOLUTION: The device for hydrogen/methane fermentation includes: a single fermentation tank; a biomass supply means connected to the fermentation tank, for supplying biomass to the fermentation tank; a biogas recovery means connected to the fermentation tank, for recovering biogas generated in the fermentation tank from the fermentation tank; and a fermentation residue recovery means connected to the fermentation tank, for recovering fermentation residues generated in the fermentation tank from the fermentation tank. The fermentation tank includes: a porous partition wall for partitioning upper and lower portions of the fermentation tank; agitators for agitation inside each of the upper and lower portions of the fermentation tank; and a transfer means for transferring a fermented liquid from the upper portion to the lower portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
