PURPOSE: A hybrid heat pump utilizing vertical rotation friction heater is provided heat low temperature water quickly by supplying bulk of evaporation heat source to the first pin coil heat exchanger of a coolant circulation circuit. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid heat pump comprises a coolant circulation circuit, heat media fluid circulation circuit, and a blower(21). The coolant circulation circuit comprises a compressor(1), plate type heat exchangers(7, 9), a first fin coil heat exchanger(19), an expansion valve(13), and a four way valve(3). The heat media fluid circulation circuit comprises a second fin coil heat exchanger(17) and a vertical rotation friction heater(31). The second fin coil heat exchanger performs sensible-heat exchanging with air. The vertical rotation friction heater circulates heat media fluid into the second fin coil heat exchanger. The blower passes the sensible-heat exchanged air through the first fin coil heat exchanger.
