<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce failure in arrangement of sheets by performing arrangement processing again in a conveyance direction only when needed. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a staple tray 54 where the sheets conveyed from an image forming apparatus body PR are stacked thereon; a beating roller 12 for performing arrangement processing of the sheets stacked on the staple tray 54; a sensor 81 for detecting the arrangement failure in the conveyance direction of the sheets disposed on the staple tray 54; and a delivery means for performing delivery processing for moving a delivery claw 52a while being contacted with one edge of the sheet to deliver the sheet from the processing tray, and also for performing the arrangement processing of the sheets again by bringing the delivery claw 52a into contact with the other edge of the sheet before the delivery processing. When the sensor 81 detects the arrangement failure in the conveyance direction of the sheet after the arrangement processing with the beating roller 12, a control part 410 causes the delivery means to perform the arrangement processing again in the conveyance direction of the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
