<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a game machine which includes a display device for displaying images and a movable accessory moving along the display surface of the display device in front of the display device and displays a start memory display based on the entrance of a game ball into a starting winning area, the viewability of the start memory display from being impaired even if a movable accessory moves in front of the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A game control device 100 includes a start memory retaining means 100 which extracts multiple random numbers related to the execution of a variable display game based on the entrance of a game ball into starting winning areas 36, 37 and stores them as the start memories of the variable display game. An effect control device 300 includes a start memory display means 300 and a movable accessory control means 300. The start memory display means causes a start memory display part 810 to display a start memory display corresponding to a start memory stored in the start memory retaining means 100. The movable accessory control means controls the movement of movable accessories 81, 82.
