The anchor (10) has a power transmission portion (12) transformed by thermoforming, cold-forming, embossing, rolling or forging, where the anchor is manufactured from a round steel C45 bar (14). The transmission portion possesses large surface area and/or large resistive torque than that of an output cross-section of the steel C45 bar in a loading direction. The transmission portion comprises a force application portion (16) that is formed with a curved surface (20), where curvature of the curved surface is smaller than curvature of the output cross-section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a G-hook (2) a telescopic support.
