<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high electric power with an ocean current/tidal current power generation device in which the flow of the ocean current in Tsugaru Straight or the flow of the tidal current in Naruto Straight is efficiently introduced into a cylindrical body by means of projecting sections, and the introduced sea water is rotated by means of an internal circularity of the cylindrical body and a discharge port, and the rotated sea water rotates a turbine shaft internally installed at a center of the circularity and fixed with blades. <P>SOLUTION: The ocean current/tidal current power generation device is configured as follows. Same projecting sections for taking in the flow facing an outer wall of the cylindrical body are prepared to the outer wall on both sides. Guide plates and an introduction port are formed inside the projecting sections. A power generation case is connected integrally with the cylindrical body with connection arms with a gap between the discharge port at a bottom of the cylindrical body. The turbine shaft fixed with the blades is internally arranged at a center of the cylindrical body. The turbine shaft is rotatably installed while a lower part of the turbine shaft is passed through the discharge port at the bottom of the cylindrical body and is passed through a through-hole structure formed on the power generation case. Speed change gears are prepared on the passed turbine shaft part and a power generation motor shaft part arranged in the power generation case to couple both the shaft parts. A plurality of support members (connection arms) are prepared on a peripheral surface of the power generation case to make the entire device be unified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
